School Council

The children have democratically voted
for representatives from each class, for each year group, to be School
Council Members. The whole school has been through the process of
nominations, hustings and secret ballots. Council meets regularly on the last

As a direct result of a council meeting
Mrs King has set up a ‘Just to Let You Know’ system which includes a box for
leaving messages, posters with her e-mail address around school and publicity
about the scheme in assemblies and newsletters. We all hope that this scheme is
successful in helping the children in all of the classes have a way of
getting in touch. If you want Mrs King to sort something
out for you, or you would just like to let her know about something, then

Playground Friends Another idea from School Council is the
Playground Friends scheme. Friends have been voted for by classes
and are on duty once every two weeks. They have all received training and wear
a special bib so that children can spot them. Playground Friends DÜC
