Information for Parents
The school's aims

Learning is a life long process, which enables us to play a full
part in society, to contribute to it, and benefit from it. All of us, parents,
teachers, children, governors and the community are involved in this process.
At Lower Farm we aim to:
Enable
children to develop abilities and skills to as high a level as possible
Ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of the
individual children, building on their strengths and achievements and
positively influencing their weaknesses
Enable children to use numeracy, literacy and
ICT(information and communication technology) effectively
Develop and maintain a happy, secure and supportive
family atmosphere, where all involved with the school are valued, cared for
and encouraged to make their unique contribution
Enable children to appreciate and value each other's
faith, culture and language and to respect fairness and a mutual tolerance of
others
Stimulate an interest in the world in which we live
and desire to make it a better place
Foster high standards of work and behaviour (Click here to see our Policy
on General Conduct)
We
do this by :-
Providing a caring and stimulating
learning environment, so that all who work within the school reach
high standards.
