Information for Parents General Conduct The staff and Governors of Lower Farm
have agreed that our children should be happy and industrious in school, and
at the same time, be caring, thoughtful of others, helpful, respectful and
polite. In order to establish and maintain high
standards in both behaviour and work in school, it is essential that all
Staff, Parents and children are aware of these aims and that everyone has the
same expectations of conduct from the children. We therefore ask children to :- Walk when moving around
school Give way to adults in
doorways etc. Refer/talk to staff/adults
by name Speak to adults politely
and respectfully at all times Be aware of visitors to
school (open doors, ask if they need help etc.) Be kind and thoughtful to
each other in every way possible Take care of equipment in
school, their own and other people’s belongings Always be polite As well as this general code of conduct
each class agrees its own code of conduct at the start of each academic year
for their own class. These help the children to formulate their own
expectations for each others behaviour and encourage the children to think
about the type of behaviour that maintains a happy environment for them to
live and work in. |
