Information for Parents Assemblies We have an act of worship each day either
as a whole school or as a class group. This has to be broadly Christian but
also includes stories and ideas form other religions. Parents may withdraw
their children from collective worship if they so wish. On Wednesday mornings at Contact the school
if would like further
information about the dates of the Class Assemblies On Friday mornings at 9.00am parents
and friends are invited to Family Assembly. At this time we value the
children’s achievements, both within school and outside school, by awarding
certificates. One child from each class is given an effort award, and one
child a service award. We celebrate birthdays at this time and give birthday
cards to those with birthdays. The Nursery attend
this assembly. A quiet, attentive and respectful
atmosphere is encouraged throughout assembly time. |
