The children in Year 3 & 4 looked at
paintings by George Seurat and discussed his use of dots. They were shown how to alter the size and
pattern of the brush tool and the spray can to produce a ‘pointillist’
effect. |

They then produced their own pictures using
this function of the painting package. They tried to blend the colours to make
realist colour effects, such as water and sunsets. |
