The children were taught to look very
carefully at the shapes and positions of the boxes on their tables. They needed to be able to ‘see’ the
relationships between the boxes. |

|
They were shown that the positions of
the boxes look different depending upon which side of the table you are
sitting on. So everyone’s picture will look
different. They also looked for the dominant
colour of the boxes, instead of trying to include all of the colours and
writing that they could see. |

They had a great time drawing and sharing
their work the other children in the class. |
