The children have been studying the human
body. They have learnt about the major organs, circulation
and how the heart rate changes. They have taken their pulses and recorded
their results. They have also learnt about what is bad
for our bodies and the effects of smoking, drinking and drugs. The Life
Education Caravan visited school in December. All of the year group visited
the caravan and learnt more about the human body and the dangers to health
from smoking, drink and non-prescription drugs. The presentation was very
good and the children learnt a great deal from the team on board the caravan.
