This Tudor display was part of our class
assembly we used coloured chalk and paint to create the pictures. We
discovered that Henry VIII was so fat that he asked the painters to make him
look slimmer in their pictures. Also he loved music, and it was thought that
he wrote the song ‘Green Sleeves’ Henry married so many times because he
wanted a son to be King after him. The Tudor period was said to be very
dirty and hygiene was a serious problem causing disease and illnesses Although the clothes were beautiful for
the rich people the poor people were very miserable and did not have very
nice homes or clothes. |
