Summer Fete 2004

We had on Summer Fete on Sunday 4th July, with lots of stalls and activities.

The fete raised over £740.

Money raised by the Lower Farm Association is spent on events and equipment for the children.

As ever the hair braiding stall proved

to be a popular attraction.

This year it was joined by a nail art stall and a washable tattoo stall. Both turned out to just as popular with the children.

There were all the regular stalls as well, such as the raffle, tombola and nearly new stalls.

Mr Bolton did well with his toy purses.

The decorate a biscuit was great fun too!!

The popcorn maker that the Association bought earlier on this year was in constant use – much to the children’s pleasure!!

There was a Treasure Island game, apple bobbing and, of course, no fete would be complete

without face painting!

Thanks to all the people who organised the event and manned the stalls.

A great time was had by all – even if they didn’t quite all manage to smile for the camera.
