Red Nose Day 2003

The whole school got involved, every class and every member of staff. We raised money by making a collection from the parents during our Friday Family Assembly.

We celebrated birthdays, awarded service and effort certificates and presented out of school certificates as usual.

Only difference was - everyone was wearing red!!

Mr Baker presented the whole assembly wearing fancy dress.

Even our Deputy Head presented the weekly Quiz with a shaggy red wig on.

The little yellow friend has been in his jacket pocket all week though – one of the children gave it to him as a present.

So Mr Bolton has kept him close, in his pocket, ever since!

Even our Nursery - Stars Class, came into assembly for Red Nose Day.

All the classes got a chance to show off their hair and clothes to the whole school and to the parents at the back.

Everyone had a great time!

The children made a donation to have a go on the school’s Bouncy Castle.

And of course they made a donation to come to school in something red or with ‘bad hair’.
